Kylee was born and raised in the small town of San Clemente, CA. She graduated from San Clemente High School in 1992 and went on to receive her Bachelor’s degree. From California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in 1995. Kylee began her career as a dental assistant and later moved on to become a marketing specialist for a large pharmaceutical company. In 2006, she enrolled at Chapman University’s Dale E. Janes School of Business to earn her MBA.
After completing her MBA, Kylee took a job with an investment bank. Where she spent the next eight years managing their portfolio of small businesses.
Kylee was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in January of 2018 and was given just six months to live by her doctors. Despite their predictions, Kylee continued to fight against her cancer. Until she finally passed away on September 3rd, 2018 at the age of 44.

Kylee was an amazing wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She was always willing to lend a helping hand and was one of the most compassionate people you would ever meet. Kylee loved spending time with her relatives and friends, especially going out for dinner and drinks. Her life will never be forgotten and her family thanks everyone for their condolences during this difficult time.

She was an artist and musician who enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. Her love of music was evident in her work as a musician and artist. And she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Kylee was predeceased by her mother, Terri; father, Joseph; brothers, Nicholas and Justin; and sister, Megan.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Martelli; children, Sophia and Maximus Martelli; parents. Terri and Joe Martelli; siblings, Sarah (Dan) Ziegler and Tessa (Chris) Hoffmann. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, July 14th at the Westview Memorial Chapel in Oswego with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Oswego. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Kylee’s memory.
